Driver Requirements
Brown Transfer insists on hiring quality, professional drivers with proven driving records and the desire to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
To apply for a driving position, you must meet the following requirements:
- At least 23 years of age
- A current and valid class "A" CDL with endorsements for hazardous materials and doubles
- Be able to physically fulfill the job requirements as described in the applicable job description
- No DUI/DWAI in the past five years
- No DOT "serious violations" in the past 3 years
- Fewer than five points on your MVR in the past 12 months
- 2 years verifiable driving experience, preferably LTL
A pre-employment physical and drug & alcohol screening is required. Brown Transfer Company prides itself in hiring those employees whose characteristics and philosophies closely match our own. A good attitude, commitment to quality and a willingness to satisfy our customer's needs are a must.
